Rendering that keeps the build moving
On a new build, render is the trade between the walls and the finish. We plan each job from your plans and your program so the render stage starts when you need it and finishes in a state the next trade can work with. Our Schedule of Rates shows how new-build rendering is priced, so you can budget the render stage before you send plans.
What is included
- A check of the plans, elevations and specified finish before we quote
- Preparation of the substrate, including beads, angles and joints where the system requires them
- Render applied in the coats the system calls for, to the finish on your plans
- Clean-up of our work area at the end of each stage
- A message to you when the stage is complete so the next trade can be booked
Substrates and systems
Most new builds we render are Besser block, Hebel or other AAC block, concrete or brick. We apply cement render and solid plastering over masonry, and acrylic render systems where the substrate or the wall system needs them. If your plans specify a particular manufacturer's system, include that in the call-up.

Who organises scaffold?
On most builder jobs the builder supplies scaffold. Let us know in the call-up if that is different on your job so we can plan for it.
What finishes can you apply?
Sponge, smooth and textured finishes, depending on the render system and what your plans specify. Put the finish in the call-up and we confirm it in the quote.
Can I see your rates before I send plans?
Yes. Download our Schedule of Rates with your email address. Each job is then confirmed in a free written quote from your plans.
